5 Days Cuyabeno Amazon Paddling Tour
Beste Martijn,
Alles heel goed! We hebben enorm van onze jungle tour genoten! Vooral de gids was super. Hij had veel kennis en heeft ons veel diertjes getoond (vele mooie vogels, slangen, tarantula, tapir, dolfijn, kaaimannen, aapjes, vele insecten,…). Hij had ook veel respect voor de natuur.
De lodge was ook goed gelegen en ook de rest van de staff was vriendelijk.
Het enigste waarbij we een beetje een wrang gevoel bij hadden, was dat we de indruk hadden dat we door onze aanwezigheid zelf een beetje van het amazonewoud hebben stukgemaakt. Een viertakt motor voor de motorboot en zonnepanelen in de lodge zouden een groot verschil kunnen gemaakt hebben. We zouden graag het woud verder zien blijven bestaan 🙂
Maar voor de rest was het een leuke ervaring! Vriendelijk bedankt om het te regelen voor ons!

11 Days Cusco, Inca Jungle Trail, Machu Picchu and Titicaca
Hi Martijn,
The tour was great, minus the late transfer on the first day of arrivalin Cusco. During the Premium Inca Jungle Trail the guides were great and looked after us, I think for the mountain biking another stop a bit lower down when the temperature rises would be useful!
We could definitely tell the difference between our tour and the rest of our group, so the guides have been really good.
If goes without saying that you have been incredibly helpful in this, since before the tour started to throughout my tour, my dad mentioned that you have been very quick at replying to emails and very informative! So thank you so much, and I look forward to recommending you to anyone who is planning a trip to Peru!

Encantada Galapagos Tour

Bedankt voor je bericht! Denk dat de beving net was toen we in het vliegtuig zaten. Dus niets van gemerkt. Jij hopelijk ook niet. Nu laatste dagje guayaquil en dan jammer genoeg naar huis…
Galapagos was geweldig! Vlucht super, helemaal voor Tom want zaten twee maal bij de nooduitgang. De encantada was een leuke boot met super goede crew. We hebben heel veel gezien en hadden een leuke groep.
Alleen de hutten waren wel wat minder. Wil onderstaande ervaring meegeven zodat je dat kunt meenemen in boekingen van anders klanten van je.
Van de eerste hut waar we in zaten (6) was de deur naar de douche/wc kapot en klapperde de hele nacht. Toen we daar wat van zeiden werd de deur vastgebonden, wat inhield dat we geen deur meer hadden en dat je dus geen “privacy” op de toilet had… Waren we niet heel blij mee en uiteindelijk op ons eigen verzoek zijn we overgeplaatst naar kamer 3 (die vies was en ik zelf heb schoongemaakt). Ging niet heel soepel allemaal en voor het bedrag dat je betaalt verwacht je wel een deur naar de badkamer 😉 We wisten dat het een backpacker boot was met kleine hutten, maar alles moet wel werkend zijn.
Verder coloma suites, dat was super! Heel schoon, grote kamers en hele vriendelijke eigenaresse. Top!
Als laatse willen we je bedanken voor je hulp. Je doet het super en we hebben een topvakantie gehad.

10 Days highlights of Peru!

Thank you very much for this exciting tour. Yesterday I arrived back in Germany. Alex and Andi still walk the Appalachian Trail in the USA. The Tour could not have been better, it was really planned everything perfectly – Taxi driver, hotel, attractions… We have actually seen so much in this short time. Thank you for that!
It was also very nice that your employees were always on time when we reported, even if my English on the Phone is not as good :/

Thanks for checking in. After some misunderstanding on the day of arrival, the rest went smooth.
The Inca Trail was amazing. We had some rain but that’s to be expected, it kept us cool. Everything went so well and was very well organized. Our guide was the best. I slept so well when I got back and I think that shower was the best I ever had.
I hope you don’t mind, I passed your website and name along to a woman I met while checking out of my hostel today. I didn’t catch her name but she had been in Cusco for two days and is looking to do some trekking. I told her how good my experience was and how knowledgeable you were so you maybe hearing from someone.

We have had a great trip. All hostel, tours and pickups etc were organized and went smoothly too. The Inca Trail itself was great with everything organized as expected.
The only things we could comment on is perhaps the way the company treats their porters. We noticed that with many other companies they were given uniform and proper equipment whereas some of ours were walking in sandals in the pouring rain. But despite their lack of equipment they did all seem to be happy, laughing and joking together.
Apart from that everything was fine with our only advice for any future clients being to pack light!

Tours and transfers in North Peru
Leeds 2014 Student/ Volunteer Group
2014 was the second year that we helped the Peruvian non profit Charity Organization SKIP (Supporting Kids in Poverty/ Peru) to organize tours for a group of 35 Leeds students, who came all the way from the UK to volunteer with SKIP. This year they worked for 6 weeks as one group of volunteers with SKIP in Trujillo, the North op Peru. We arranged all their airport and bus transfers + their tours in the North of Peru during those 6 weeks.
As you can see on the picture, the Leeds 2014 student group gave us a very personal gift, to thank us for all our help and effort in organizing this. After those 6 weeks they went all their own ways. Of course we continued to provide help and advice to those who traveled further into Peru or even Bolivia and needed a hand in getting things organized.
Thank you Leeds for coming to Peru and hope to see you again next year!

5 Days Cuyabeno Paddling Tour
[English] Hi Martijn,
Thank you for making me do this trip to the Cuyabeno national park. You do know the itinerary, so that was exactly what we did. The rainforest is beautiful, I loved the big trees! There was a lot of wildlife we could see: starting with the biggest and prettiest butterflies I’ve ever seen, lots of monkeys ( we saw 8 of the 9 species living there), birds like big parrots, king fisher, cormorans, tucans… there was a sloth hanging, one anaconda was 7 meters lying on a tree to change her skin and the pink dolphins. Paddling was fun, the camping too. The sound of the rainforest in the night is amazing! I liked the glowworms, stars and the sky, the warm temperature and meeting the indigenous. We played soccer with them and jumped in the river afterwards, not caring of still wearing our clothes and just laughing. The nightwalk was amazing, too. The group was young just as our 22 year old guide Diego, who did a pretty good job all of the time.
The last morning we went to the big lagoon really early but it was great to catch this mystical feeling there. The food was ok and the guys working for the lodge were nice!

Die Magic River Lodge im Cuyabeno- Nationalpark ist definitiv eine Reise wert! Es war ein großartiges Erlebnis auf dem Amazonas zu paddeln und nach Tieren Ausschau zu halten, den Sound des Regenwaldes im Zelt liegend zu geniessen in der Großen Lagune Flussdelfine zu sehen. Die Natur ist atemberaubend schön, der Sternenhimmel unglaublich weit und die Tierwelt ein Traum. Wir sahen viele Affen, riesige Schmetterlinge, bunte Vögel (Papageien, Tukane, Eisvögel,…) ein Faultier an einem Ast hängen, eine 7 Meter Anakonda auf einem Baum vom Boot aus, natürlich Insekten und vieles mehr. Das Treffen mit der indigenen Gruppierung Siona war sehr interessant, wir buken Brot, spielten Fussball und sprangen lachend in den Fluss.
Die Ecolodge ist schön, ihr Team freundlich und unser Guide war toll.
Alles in allem kann ich die Reise nur jedem empfehlen, der die Natur liebt und bedanke mich für die unvergesslichen Augenblicke!

The trip was fantastic and definitely exceeded expectations. I would only say take the verde soup off the menu but besides that the guide Andres was amazing and everyone very hospitable and friendly. I have already suggested it to other travelers here especially with the great price. Thanks again for booking me so last minute. I’m sad to be leaving Ecuador soon.

10 Dagen Encantada Galapagos Cruise
Hallo Martijn,
Nu een weekje thuis en bezig alle indrukken en afbeeldingen op een rijtje te zetten.
De opvang ter plaatse was punctueel op tijd, door sympathieke medewerkers. Op de uitvoering door Scuba Galapagos was niets aan te merken.
Begeleiding bij opvang , verblijf en vertrek op de Galapagos was perfect. Beide gidsen, Sam en Juan waren zijn ervaren en (na meer dan 23 jaar) nog steeds zeer gedreven.
De boot voldeed uitstekend, de hutten waren schoon, dagelijks schoon beddegoed en zonodig handdoeken, snorkelspullen waren OK en het eten was uitstekend.
De bemanning, was behulpzaam, sympathiek en professioneel.
Beide keren bestond de groep uit 11 personen, de tweede groep was enthousiast en gezellig (de eerste groep wat minder).Nog wat tips, aan de hand van de ervaringen.
Beschermen en smeren!
Omdat het bewolkt was en tegen regen aan, had ik geen zonnebrandolie gebruikt en geen zonnebril op tijdens onze eerste dag Quito. Foutje.Door de ligging op 2800 m is de UV-straling kennelijk dermate hoog, dat je ook zonder zon danig verbrandt.
De eerste paar dagen heb ik tijdens het snorkeleneen T-shirt gedragen, later niet meer. Foutje, mijn rug is behoorlijk verbrand en ik ben aardig aan het vervellen.
Martijn, bedankt voor je bemoeienissen met onze reis. Mede dank zij jouw inzet heeft de trip aan al onze verwachtingen voldaan!
